Free Yoga for Veterans in Teton Valley, Idaho

The Teton Valley Karma Krew is happy to announce their participation with Diamond Way Ayurveda’s “The Welcome Home Project” for returning Veterans. As part of the “Welcome Home Project,” both Yoga Tejas and Balance Studios will offer free yoga classes to soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, and their spouses/significant other.
 
Health care providers, including the Veterans Administration, have learned that yoga and meditation greatly benefit soldiers affected with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and/or more visible wounds return to everyday life more engaged and happier. As thanks to our Veterans and their families for their sacrifices and service, Yoga Tejas will offer one month of yoga classes at no charge to Veterans and their significant others. Several group yoga classes are offered throughout the week at Yoga Tejas in downtown Driggs. A schedule of classes can be found online at www.yogatejas.com.  In addition, yoga instructor Jen Werlin will offer 5 free yoga classes to Veterans and their significant others at her Wednesday evening class from 6:45-8pm at Balance Studios in Victor.

Yoga Tejas is an Anusara yoga studio located in downtown Driggs at 165 Front Street (behind the Royal Wolf Restaurant). Balance Studios is a Pilates, dance, and yoga studio located in downtown Victor at 25B Arrow Root Lane (behind Tinelli Brothers Tattoos off of Main Street).
